The EFry staff are super supportive in so many ways. I applied for the EFry Bail House when I in White Birtch. I sent my application in and I kept in touch with Efry and they told me that I had been accepted for the Bail House. I was ready to work on changing my life and I am so glad to have such a supportive group of women in my life that are there for me through thick and think and they want nothing but the best for me and for my recovery. I am so grateful to have EFry in my life cause without them I would not have a roof over my head. I would have been homeless and still couch surfing and I would not be the person who I am today. ”

They showed me the ropes, so I gripped the ropes with all my life, and trusted all of them. “I was in Pine Grove Correctional awaiting trail, facing years in the federal system after many incarcerations. I couldn’t get out on bail and had to wait. Wanting treatment but unsure where to turn, I called Elizabeth Fry and was surprised by their support. They gave me an in-person appointment, and I met my worker who changed my life. She got me out at my bail hearing and into an outpatient treatment program with accommodations in their Sober Living Home. I completed the program and will celebrate one year clean on June 15, 2024. None of this would be possible without the Elizabeth Fry Society, and I am truly grateful.”
