Nicole Obrigavitch

Nicole came to us from the Kamloops Elizabeth Fry Society and has also done regional advocacy work with the Canadian Association of Elizabeth Fry Societies, monitoring conditions of confinement for incarcerated women and gender-diverse folks.

Nicole grew up in Saskatchewan and has degrees in Sociology and Law. With a background that includes lived experience of recovery and incarceration, Nicole works hard to develop and provide programming for women and gender-diverse folks in conflict with the justice system. Nicole will continue advocating for positive changes in the community through partnerships and the promotion of systems change advocacy, equity, and inclusion.
