Women’s Court Worker Program

The Women’s Court Worker Program strives to assist women of varied ethnic, cultural and financial circumstance to achieve optimum results throughout the court process. The women appear under various circumstances both as victims and as accused.

The Women’s Court Worker provides information on options and pleas; summary, hybrid or indictable offences, court procedure, trial readiness, sentencing, fine options and referral to legal and community services.

The program contributes to the overall legal education of Saskatchewan people, increasing their overall ability to navigate through the criminal justice system.

“The Court Worker did an excellent job for me at court. She was caring and it meant a lot to me.” (A woman incarcerated at RPC)
