The Aboriginal Integration Worker is a new program which provides Aboriginal women with important connections to employment and housing; assists with maintaining family, cultural and spiritual connections; provides assistance with obtaining a bank account, winter clothing, budgeting; and assistance in accessing appropriate health care services. In essence, the Aboriginal Integration Worker provides specific individualized support to women, to assist them with accessing community services and creating a continuum of care in Saskatoon for Aboriginal criminalized women.
The Aboriginal Integration Worker program will assist women to achieve emotional, spiritual, mental and physical balance in their lives as they make a safe reintegration into the community.
